I’ve noticed this particular number cropping up on my elderly mother’s phone bill recently. She’s 89, and it’s baffling to see that she’s being charged £10.95 for just 2.57 minutes of calls she never made. I can't quite comprehend how this situation arises. How on earth is this even possible?

I got a call from 09001879900 and only let it ring for a minute, next thing I know they charged me £3.70! Dunno who these lot are, definitely feels like a rip off. Best just to ignore and hang up straight away.
