Got a call about some kind of word search game on telly, but it was a total con. They wanted me to ring a premium number that costs a fortune. Proper scam!

Just caught the crossword contest advert on ITV4 today, 19/09/20, saying it costs £3.60 for a 4 minute call and then an extra £8 if you wanna keep going for 2 more mins. The prize is apparently £11,000. Quite pricey if you ask me!

Came across a charge for calls to this number on my mother-in-law's phone bill. She has dementia and hardly ever rings anyone. I'm guessing someone must have called her and somehow tricked her into pressing something that connected to this number.

I think it was one of those quiz lines on telly that charge about £4 a minute, maybe? Seemed like a premium rate call.

Can't remember ever calling this number, and I don't know who it is either. Completely clueless about it.
