Received a call from someone claiming they wished for us to participate in a so-called "lifestyle questionnaire". Politely refused and hung up. The caller was a woman with a strong accent. The Caller ID appeared to be faked, and it's highly likely it was a VoIP connection.

Just received a call a mere fifteen seconds ago, asking if I'd be interested in a quick survey lasting just a minute. When I inquired how they got my number-seeing as I’m on the ex-directory list-the caller abruptly hung up on me. Next time, should I get another call of this nature, I'm going to be prepared with a suggestion that might just ruffle a few feathers. If these incessant calls don’t cease, all bets are off; I might just give a few of these callers a lesson in my own unique take on the English language!

I received a call on the 14th of December 2010 from a number that looked like 0888888888888. The person on the other end had a distinct foreign accent and was trying to conduct a "one minute lifestyle survey" for the National Research Centre or some such nonsense. It really riled us up, and before long, they hung up in a huff! I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of our Truecall device from the postie. Fingers crossed it will put an end to all this nonsense!

We received a call from this number on the 28th of October, 2010. When we picked up, the caller simply hung up. We're curious to know who they were and the reason for attempting to contact us. We're listed on the x directory and our number is on the preference list. It's quite bothersome, and it feels like these people ought to be held accountable for their actions!

Blimey, it turns out this number hails from Bulgaria! Apparently, every digit that kicks off with 1888 is linked to scams, or so I've been told. I just heard from my mate today that three folks bit the dust, two of whom were involved with the Bulgarian mob. She caught this shocking tidbit on the telly yesterday. It really feels like something straight out of a horror flick, you know, like "One Missed Call"? Quite chilling, to say the least!

Around 6 o'clock this evening, I received a rather insistent call from a chap with a strong foreign twang. He claimed to be carrying out an Energy Survey, but when I inquired about the company he represented, he dodged my question time and again. He kept insisting that the survey would only take a mere 15 seconds, but eventually, I found myself having to terminate the call!
