I've been dealing with HDNL, the delivery service Amazon employs. Recently, I tried to get in touch with them about a redelivery and found myself stuck on the phone for nearly 30 to 40 minutes, merely listening to their elevator music. When our phone bill came through, I was shocked to see we'd racked up over £6 just for the privilege of being kept on hold! It's utterly outrageous. I believe Amazon ought to reconsider their partnership with such a service. Furthermore, it's high time Ofcom took action against the exploitation of premium-rate helplines.

I consider myself fortunate, you see. Our residence is conveniently near a Delivery Network Depot, so I sometimes opt for the "collect from Depot" option when shopping online. However, my goodness, the service has been utterly appalling! Whenever we receive a parcel through them, I make it a point to contact the company I ordered from and let them know that the HDNL really tarnishes their reputation. Since we don’t usually call the premium-rate numbers, we tried to seek out alternatives on w.sayno0870.com, but to our dismay, that particular number wasn’t featured anywhere. What a right pickle!

Today, we received one of those peculiar calls. The strange part is that we were actually waiting for two deliveries, which have both now arrived. However, according to the automated phone system, we supposedly rescheduled a delivery for another day, but I’m not anticipating anything more. It's rather baffling, as we'd like to understand why our postcode was flagged as invalid when it seems we’re set to receive a package.
