Today I kept getting calls but as soon as I picked up, the person on the other end just hung up straight away :/ Seriously annoying!

Got about 8 calls from this number each day but nobody ever talks when I pick up. Tried to block it on Virgin but no luck. Really annoying!

I put a block on these annoying lot about three months back, just had a look at my blocked calls and there’s been 283 missed ones from these bloody pests! Not impressed at all. Lucky they don’t have my landline or I’d be getting bombarded. Honestly, best thing to do is report ’em to the Ombudsman or the DTI - they’ll sort it properly and block ’em for good lol. Caller was from 08719430423.

I can't believe how rude these lot were, honestly proper pushy and full of themselves. They even started acting threatening towards me and my daughter, which was just ridiculous.

My phone keeps buzzing with calls and messages I have to pay to listen to, but turns out it's just silence on the other end. Bloody annoying!

Sometimes I get a call from the same number like 7 times in a single day. It’s quite annoying really. When I pick up and say hello, there’s nothing but silence, then the call just ends straightaway.

Hello, This number has been ringing me quite a few times without saying anything. I ended up reporting it through a contact I saw on the TPS site, 03001233333. If lots of folks report these calls, maybe they’ll do something about it. I’m also going to check with my phone provider to see if they can block this number, as it rang three times just today. Pretty much the same thing happening to me as 'annoyed' mentioned! I got them blocked on my mobile, but they keep ringin my landline like 5 times a day. I never answer since I’m at work anyway. No clue who these lot are or why they think I want a loan - never applied for any! It’s seriously getting on my nerves. I get a bunch of calls daily, mostly just silence on the other end. Every now and then, they'll ask about someone connected to a loan, but I have no clue who that is. Even though I never answer or know the person, they keep ringing me over and over.

I keep gettin calls from these dodgy folks. Whenever I answer, their computer cuts off straight away. Seems like a scam to me. Loads of people probably hit "1471" and end up with a bill. Honestly, it should be banned.

I keep getting calls almost daily from this bloke with a foreign accent, but loads of times it’s just silent on the other end. He often wants to speak to someone I’ve never even heard of. I’ve tried being polite and even warned I’d report them if they don’t stop, but it makes no difference. I actually called back once and found out they’re from something called One Stop Loan Shop. They keep ringing though, so I’ve put the number block on my phone so I don’t have to keep answering. Watch out though, cause sometimes they "hang up" but the call doesn’t properly end, and once I saw it marked as international. I reckon that’ll show up on my phone bill for sure.

Since 28th April 2015, I’ve been getting calls from this number starting around 9:40 and then again at 11:21. The calls always go straight to my answerphone and the caller hangs up right after leaving a beep. On Wednesday 29th, I got calls at 11:46, 12:52 and 18:20. Out of curiosity, I rang the number back and spoke to a man with an Asian accent who said he was from ‘Match your Loans’ based in Manchester. When I pressed him, he gave an address at 132-4 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 6DE, but a quick look on Google Earth shows it’s just a place for accommodation, no business! He claimed they were dealing with some online loan application of mine, but I’ve never used the internet to apply for any loan and have no interest in one. The calls have kept coming every day except Sundays ever since. Thankfully, I have caller ID, so I just let them ring through to the answerphone and as usual, they disconnect as soon as the machine picks up. Some recent call times: Thursday 30th at 11:20, 11:52 and 12:24; Friday 1st May at 10:52 and 11:53; Saturday 2nd at 15:36; Monday 4th at 12:35; Tuesday 5th at 16:30 and 17:36; Wednesday 6th at 14:33 and 15:45; Thursday at 14:17 and 17:08; Friday 8th at 14:32; Saturday 9th at 16:42; Monday 11th at 10:28 and 13:57. The number is 0871940423 and it’s clearly some sort of scam.

I’m getting loads of calls every single day, it’s honestly starting to feel like harassment. Most of the time I don’t even bother answering because I know it’s the same people. When I do pick up and say the person they’re asking for has passed away, they just hang up straight away. I’m really fed up with this now.

I get these bloody calls all the time, like 5 or 6 times a day, usually when I’m at the hospital, trying to grab some sleep, or putting my kid to bed. Every time I answer, they just cut off. I’m about to have a baby any minute now and the last thing I need is the drama of having to update my number everywhere - school, hospital and all that. Honestly, I wish they’d just leave me alone for once...

They promised to contact me within two days to sort the payment and repayment plans, but I never heard back. Honestly, if you're thinking of applying, don't bother giving them any money. I was hoping for a bit of financial help even though I have a full-time job, but now I'm just £20 lighter. Avoid these lot at all costs.

I rang them back earlier and asked to have my number taken off their list, fingers crossed it doesn't end up costing me anything.

Got charged 40 quid outta nowhere, never asked for a loan or anything, they just called me up. They promised no fees but clearly lied.

They call nonstop from this loan place, always asking for someone called Abigail. When I said to take me off their list, they just ring me and hang up as soon as I pick up. It’s annoying for sure, but best thing is to just not bother answering. Loads of messages come from different numbers too, just delete them straight away. Don’t ever share any personal info with them, no matter what.
