Ideal World TV is such a scam. I emailed them to find out if the Polti cordless vacuum was made in China because I refuse to buy products from there. They said it was made in the UK, so I went ahead and ordered it. When it arrived, the box clearly had "Made in PRC" printed on it, meaning it’s from China. So they basically lied to me. I sent it back, but to make matters worse, I got charged nearly £4 for the call to ask the question in the first place.

Ideal World never called me, I was the one who had to contact them. I had ordered some plants from "Garden Bargains" via Ideal World, but there was an issue. After checking Garden Bargains on Trustpilot, it’s clear that loads of people have had problems. The delivery note from Ideal World gave a number to ring for complaints. When I called, they told me to take photos and send an email to [email protected]. I did this over two weeks ago and still got no response. Honestly, I’d say steer clear of this company.

The item did turn up and I’m happy with it, but I’d suggest ordering online and using the "contact us" feature on their website. I only called because I was going away with family to the beach for a few days and didn’t wanna have a pricey £68 parcel just sitting on the doorstep!
