It appears that Ideal World continues to engage in this practice as of now. If you're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I’d strongly advise reporting them, as this constitutes a marketing call. I reached out to them via email; they promised a response within a day, but it’s now been almost two weeks with no word from them.

I've had a rather unpleasant experience with Ideal World. They went ahead and enrolled me into a Supercard scheme without my consent, which I certainly did not request. I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so these marketing calls shouldn't be bothering me at all. Ideal World clearly doesn’t respect that. I've decided to terminate my account with them. I'm absolutely livid!

Create and Craft emailed my mum to say they don’t ask for £2.99 delivery on a £5 voucher, and the calls aren’t from them to help with any order. Got a call from this number around half six tonight. A guy with an Asian accent said he knew my first name and claimed he was from Create and Craft. Me wife was trying to order some stuff but had trouble with OPENPAY. The phone rang at 15:44 and the caller said they were from Create and Craft. My wife told them she’d already cancelled by then, he heard that and I told him. He said thanks and hung up. I looked up the number on their site and it matched Create’s. This has happened before when we couldn’t use both OPENPAY and FLEXYPAY. I guess their customers can just pay the full price for their orders.

Somebody called saying they were from Create and Craft TV claiming to be from their phone support team. The call came out of the blue. I told them I don’t take unsolicited calls or sales pitches and asked them to take my number off their list. I have no clue how they even got hold of my number since I never gave Create and Craft TV my details. I’m ex-directory and signed up with the telephone preference service. They did know my name though, which makes me think it might’ve been some kind of scam or phishing trick.

Lately, this number has been ringing me up way too often, at all hours really. Just like others have said, the voicemails left are pretty much impossible to understand because the sound quality is so rubbish. Every time, whoever calls asks me to ring them back. I had actually bought something from Ideal World recently, and if they hadn’t been so persistent with those annoying messages, I might have phoned back about the delivery. Now, I’ve blocked their number for good and no chance I’ll be ordering from them again.

Got a call from some Asian ladies working for Ideal World. Ordered something a bit ago and they said I could get a free two-week trial. I asked loads of times what it would cost after the trial, especially since delivery would take about a week. Turns out it would be £60 every three months, so about £240 a year. Needless to say, I didn’t go for it. Probably won’t be ordering from them again, to be honest.

We ignored the call, but they left a voicemail saying we should call back about some special deals. Out of curiosity, I looked up the first four digits to check what the call might cost, and here’s what I discovered. Calling an 0871 number has two charges: one is the ‘Access Charge’, which depends on your phone provider, and the other is a ‘Service Charge’ that is 13p per minute. Just thought I’d share this in case anyone else wants to know.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from create and craft offering a monthly puzzle mag. I said I wasn’t interested, then she mentioned a 14-day cancellation period. I said no thanks. That was on the 21st. Now, out of the blue, I’ve got a puzzle magazine through my door. If I don’t cancel within 14 days, they’ll charge me £60 every three months for a monthly puzzle book subscription. The thing is, you can buy the same puzzle book for £1! Seriously thinking about emailing them right now, I’m proper angry about this.

It came up as an international call so I just let it ring out. There was a voice message left but it was all really muddled even when I turned the volume right up. I’ve had this sort of call before and it’s always some nonsense I don’t want or need, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Sounds like one of those deals where they send you a voucher booklet for random shops you don’t really care about. If you don’t cancel the trial quick enough, they charge you over £100. Honestly, with how badly things are economically right now, it’s just not on.

Create and Craft have really gone downhill lately. I’ve been a loyal customer for ages and never had a problem before, but now it feels like they’re just bugging people with constant offers at a time when lots of us are just trying to get by. It’s clear their sales must be tanking if they’re pushing so hard like this. I honestly feel a bit disappointed seeing a company I liked stoop to this kind of pressure selling.

I think the number belongs to Ideal Shopping or Create and Craft. It’s one of those premium lines, so best not to ring back. I ordered a few things recently but got fed up with the calls, so I just blocked the number. They’re legit, not a con, but still pretty annoying.

I was looking at something on the Ideal World shopping channel and had added it to my basket while deciding if I wanted it. I then decided not to buy and logged off, but almost straight away, like within a few minutes, they rang me up to “help me finish my order”. I told them it was Saturday night, I wasn’t interested, and to stop calling me. Honestly, I didn’t ask for their help and found the call quite annoying! It’s actually put me off buying anything from them in future now.

They left a message saying to call back about some special deals. Bit frustrating but nothing dodgy going on. Just a heads up though, calling back will hit you with a pricey phone bill, so maybe best to avoid ringing them back.
