Received a call from this number at 23:40! We decided not to call back since they left no message, and I’m quite relieved we looked it up instead! What’s with this company? Don’t they have anything more worthwhile to do than disturb people at such annoying hours?

Received a call from this number and decided to return the call. An exceedingly quiet and sluggish automated woman’s voice greeted me with a rather nonsensical message, saying, “Thank you for calling. Your number has been chosen to receive an amazing prize.” Naturally, we hung up before enduring more of this nonsense. What a complete waste of time-definitely a scam! The call ended up costing me £0.40 and lasted a frustrating 19 minutes.

I received a call that was abruptly ended on their side. I didn’t bother returning the call, as it seemed like a ruse to lure unsuspecting individuals into dialing in, only for them to rack up fees on that 0871 line. It's quite likely they hoped to catch folks off guard late on a Friday night at around ten o'clock, thinking people might be less vigilant!

Oh, we can certainly outdo Cheryl’s ungodly early morning ringtone-5:17 am? Really? We were jolted awake just as the call was wrapping up. But, similar to Lucy's train of thought, we're convinced that if it's truly important, they'll either ring back or leave a message. That said, we’re still curious enough to Google the 0871 number to see what’s the story.

On the 13th of August, 2009, at precisely 15:14, this company decided to give us a bell. Unfortunately, we were a bit slow getting to the phone, so we missed their call. In a moment of sheer folly, we returned their call, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time. Honestly, it’s infuriating. This outfit really ought to face penalties and be put out of business. Absolute tosser behaviour!

Received a single call and my phone went dead. Much like Lucy, we steer clear of answering unknown numbers, especially those that are premium rate. That said, I wasn't too chuffed about being jolted awake by the ringtone at 6:05am on a lazy Saturday! Unbelievable!!!!

Received a single ring at precisely 8:15 in the evening on the 9th of August. The caller hung up before we could even pick up the phone. Honestly, we have no plans to return the call. It seems to me that some folks might be raking it in by using premium rate numbers, dialling random digits, and then dropping the line before anyone can respond, clearly hoping the recipient might ring back. Quite the scam, if you ask me!
