I've encountered this particular number three times now, and it feels very much like a bit of a scam. Honestly, we wouldn’t even contemplate giving them a ring.

I've received the very same voicemail on three occasions now, and it feels decidedly dodgy, to say the least. I'm definitely not inclined to take the chance of calling this number back.

We've received a call from the number 1620302 from Idaho 962 as well. After a while, we chose option five to speak with someone, but we ended up being placed in a queue for what felt like an eternity. Eventually, we decided to hang up since, as far as we know, we’re not in debt to anyone, least of all the DVLA.

It’s precisely the same ring as mentioned earlier, complete with the reference code.

Received a rather dubious text from BT VM claiming a debt owed by someone named David! The message mentioned an outstanding balance and instructed me to call Philips at 08715720063, referencing a number or something similar to 1688753 from Idaho 962. There's also a secondary number, 08715720219, provided for calling back. It certainly rings alarm bells as it appears to be linked to a debt collection agency. One would expect proper communication through the post detailing the debt in question rather than this. It has the marks of a scam written all over it. For anyone else who encounters a message of this nature, I implore you not to engage with it at all!

Found myself caught in a queue when I tried calling back. It's the 28th, so I simply hung up in the end.

We've managed to figure out who's behind it all... Turns out the DVLA has offloaded a database of outstanding road tax, and the vehicle in question was actually scrapped over five years back. Naturally, we’ve got no documentation regarding that. Philips appear to be just a small-time outfit when it comes to chasing debts.

Received a similar message regarding this very problem. It appears these folks are after someone who called Catherine, a person who has never resided at this address since it’s a newly constructed property. We’ve decided against contacting the company again just to be placed in a queue at a charge of 10p per minute, especially when they claim the wait is around twenty minutes!

It appears that a group of individuals has been sending a number of SMS text messages and leaving voice mails at our former residence, which we vacated over five years ago. Strangely enough, they seem to reference the same identification number each time. This could very well be a scam or perhaps even linked to an expensive service line. Creating a database to dispatch such messages is hardly a Herculean task these days. I shall certainly be steering clear of this situation. Cheers, Stefan.

I received a rather peculiar message concerning the same topic. It appears that these individuals are persisting in contacting a certain Catherine, who has never set foot at that location, given that it's a newly built property. We’ve decided against ringing the company again, as we’d rather not find ourselves trapped in a long queue at a rate of 10p per minute, especially when they claim you’ll be on hold for around twenty minutes!
