I've been receiving calls from some outfit pushing EPOS systems on me. I attempted to voice my concerns online, but lo and behold, they just severed the connection! It’s rather amusing, isn’t it? I’m unable to interrupt their sales pitch, yet they can so easily disconnect me... Cheers, James

I’ve had an absolutely dreadful experience with this dodgy lot. They swindled me out of £99, claiming to sell me a till and cash drawer. Not only did I never receive the items, but I haven't heard a peep from them either. I’m absolutely furious and will be filing a complaint against them today. I keep receiving calls from a sales team hawking phone systems, PDQs, and cash register agreements to new enterprises. They seem utterly relentless and treat 'no' as if it's a mere invitation to try harder. I’ve discovered that the most effective tactic is to hand the phone to my little boy and tell him it's Batman calling for him. Then I just sit back and enjoy the show as he bombards them with an avalanche of inquiries about the DC universe. It doesn't take long before they lose interest and hang up!

Today, on the 31st of May 2016, we received a call from a company that I believe was represented by someone called ‘Early.’ He was evidently trying to pitch a phone system to us. As the part owner and secretary, I took the call myself and enquired how I could assist him. Mr. Early, rather hesitantly, mentioned his company's name and then proceeded to ramble on about epos systems, albeit quite unforthcoming. I politely explained that we weren’t in the market for such a system and provided a quick reason why. To my surprise, he abruptly hung up on me. While I understand that telesales can be a tough gig, his manner was quite off-putting; it felt rather unprofessional to simply cut the conversation short like that.
