I received a voicemail from these folks, complete with a reference number. Gave them a ring back and it turned out they were inquiring about our Three bill, which we had settled directly ages ago! The lady I spoke to was genuinely apologetic and rather pleasant. Honestly, don’t hesitate to return their call; they seemed perfectly decent, far more amiable compared to some others we've encountered.

They’re asserting that we owe them money, yet refuse to furnish any specifics unless we first provide our address. It’s best to steer clear of them entirely! I’ve lodged a formal complaint, and it seems that numerous others have done the same. If you find yourself being pestered by them, make sure to raise your voice and file a complaint!

Strangely enough, the caller left the exact same message each time-a pre-recorded voice urging us to get in touch with that number. It turns out this number belongs to United Utilities, who have referred us regarding a debt of £209 linked to a flat we vacated over a year ago. After a month of sheer annoyance, being shuffled between the two companies, we discovered that they actually owe us money! What a surprise! To be fair, Wescot were fairly decent during our phone conversations, but United Utilities was a different kettle of fish entirely-absolutely rubbish, with zero qualified staff on hand to assist.

When I asked who was on the line, the response was ‘Westcot.’ The person who rang was a Scottish lady, and quite frankly, after seeing all the other comments about them, we're steering clear of any return call. They haven't tried to get in touch again, and it suits us just fine!

We’ve recently received a call from them as well. I must say, the team there was exceedingly accommodating. They flagged an outstanding bill linked to an old address for us, which we genuinely appreciated. They furnished us with all the necessary details to determine if the bill had already been settled, along with the precise sums involved. To be honest, we didn’t find the person we interacted with to be rude or brusque at all. It’s a tad annoying that there's an unpaid bill hanging over us, but we can’t really hold them accountable for that.
