10 yearsI’ve had two more calls since my last update. I actually answered the second one of the two, and once again it turns out they’re asking for the previous tenant. It's utterly baffling!10 yearsIt's 8 o'clock in the morning on our day off and here we go again with these callers! I must say, this is probably the fifth time they’ve tried to reach us. Don’t they have any thought for others? Surely, a more decent hour wouldn’t hurt!10 yearsWithout a doubt, that was the collections team from Alliance and Leicester. I’ve noticed there’s usually a slight lag in response time as soon as you engage with them. Quite frustrating, to be honest! 😕AllianceLeicester10 yearsOh, what an absolute nuisance those Alliance and Leicester chaps are! In a single day, we endured 18 calls! All of them coming from an autodialler that cut off just moments after we answered. It’s like they’re determined to drive us mad! We've now earmarked them as a ‘Choose to Refuse' number, so they’re barred from bothering us again. Finally, we can enjoy some well-deserved peace and tranquillity. Blissful, isn’t it?AllianceLeicester11 yearsI’ve ended up with a total of eight rings in their possession.11 yearsAbsolutely, another number to add to the list - it’s the one from Alliance & Leicester, 01162626277. If you poke around, you’ll find info on those dubious ‘unenforceable loan agreements’. Worth a look, I’d say!Alliance & Leicester11 yearsIndeed, it seems that Alliance & Leicester has once again let us down. I came across the number 01162626277, and I’d strongly recommend looking into the “inconceivable agreements credit” tied to it. Quite the dubious lot, aren’t they?Alliance & Leicester11 yearsI had a bit of a bother with these callers who seemed to be searching for our brother, you see-he’s got an account with A&A. However, the rather clueless chap on the other end couldn't even get our surname right, which really grated on us. Initially, we thought it might have been a government line, considering the persistence of the calls. There was also this bloke from Barclays who kept ringing our home phone looking for the same brother, bless 'im. The situation reached the point where I ended up telling them he had gone on holiday for a month. But, lo and behold, just two days later, the calls resumed-this time I chose to ignore it.A & A11 yearsI frequently find that when I pick up the phone, the caller hangs up straight away. On occasions when it goes to the answerphone, the message I receive is simply, "This is an answering machine; please leave your message after the beep." However, bizarrely, just a mere five minutes later, these same callers disconnect. Does this count as a nuisance call, given that an answering machine is part of the equation?12 yearsRang once about thirty minutes ago, but we didn’t pick up. They called again roughly fifteen minutes later. We answered, and a British chap asked for the previous tenant. We told him he doesn’t reside here anymore, and requested that he remove that contact number from his records. He replied with a casual "Yes, we will do." Not long after, the phone rang yet again about fifteen minutes later; as soon as we answered, the line went dead-likely an autodialler at work.12 yearsThis number has been calling us incessantly to the point where it's becoming a bit of a nuisance. We keep receiving calls asking for someone named Bruce. A few weeks back, we actually answered one of these calls and explained that I'm not Bruce and requested that they take our number off their list. Despite that, we’ve been bombarded with calls nearly every day since then. Just the other day, I had to inform them again that I’m not Bruce, yet here we are - yet another call today. It seems we might have to endure this for another month at this rate!Bruce12 yearsThis number has called us seven times over the last week. I'm only here to report it once, but every time we answer, they just hang up as soon as we pick up. Quite baffling, really!12 yearsThis number has called us on seven occasions over the last week. I've only managed to answer it once, and the callers hung up as soon as I picked up the receiver. It’s rather peculiar, isn’t it?12 yearsThe incessant calls linked to this number are quite frankly tantamount to harassment for our 79-year-old grandmother, who has never taken out a loan or had any dealings with Alliance & Leicester. Whenever I've contacted their customer service, it seems they are utterly oblivious to the situation, leaving me uncertain if it’s even them calling at all! I reached out to Virgin in hopes of getting these calls blocked, but, surprisingly, they were of no assistance whatsoever. I've now signed up with a different company that aims to thwart these annoying cold calls, so let’s see if that does the trick! What a right nuisance!Alliance & LeicesterVirginSubmit Your Own Report (0870 900 0999)
