I received a text from 62929 confirming my subscription to a site, which, in hindsight, was quite daft of me to accept. Shortly after, another message popped up informing me of hefty charges for each message received. It prompted me to text "quit" to unsubscribe, but sadly, that didn't go through. They provided a phone number, 08706264745, for us to call to sort this mess, but now I feel utterly foolish. What on earth should I do?

My daughter received a text from Playphone, notifying her that she would incur a charge of £4.95 monthly. It instructed her to text 'quit' to unsubscribe, which she promptly attempted to do. However, the message failed to send. After we perused their website, we discovered that their services are intended for individuals aged 16 and above-yet my daughter is merely 14. I certainly never consented to anything on her behalf!

My daughter received a text message from Playphone informing her that she would incur a charge of £4.95 each month and to reply 'quit' if she wished to unsubscribe. She attempted to do so, but the message wouldn’t go through. Upon glancing at their website, we discovered that registration is meant for those aged 16 and above, and as my daughter is only 14, I find it utterly perplexing that she was even targeted. I certainly haven’t agreed to any of this nonsense!

I found this to be a total scam! It’s high time this company, PLAYPHONE, was shut down.

Our daughter received a text from Playphone letting her know she would be billed £4.95 a month. It also mentioned that she could text 'quit' to opt out, which she promptly did. However, as we dug deeper into their website, it became clear that you need to be at least sixteen to sign up for their services. Our girl is only fourteen, and I'd never consented to a trial period lasting two days!
