We received a call as well, and it turned out to be nothing short of a scam. What a complete swindle!

I’ve found that this number is linked to Weinstein Williams. I’ve even checked in with a couple of local police stations about it. Strangely enough, I’ve never come across any of the publications they claim to advertise in. Feels like a bit of a scam, if you ask me!

On the fifteenth of April, 2010, we received a call from this number. The caller claimed to be Andy Skelton from the press office of the emergency services. Curiously enough, she left behind a mobile number-07708980920-that unfortunately doesn’t appear to take voicemail. We couldn’t shake the feeling that something was amiss, so we decided to look up the number online. Glad we took that step!

It seems that once you’ve been caught up in these dodgy schemes, like we were with Blueline, there’s little chance of recovering your funds, isn't there? Has anyone managed to reclaim their money? If so, we could use some advice! Please, we need a bit of guidance here!

I received a call from someone named Claire, claiming to be with the Press Office, and she was keen to have a word with the manager. Naturally, we inquired, "Which Press Office are you referring to?" She then clarified it was the one for emergency services. We probed further, asking, "Which emergency service are you talking about?" and she responded with "Police, fire, and ambulance." Then she casually said, "I just want to thank you," to which we queried, "Thank us for what exactly?" After that, she abruptly hung up. I can assure you, I have no ties to any so-called Press Office. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

We've been receiving these peculiar phone calls from various individuals. Pro tip: we like to claim that our boss has a bit of a shady past involving some time in prison for fraud or even GBH. Alternatively, we might pivot and start promoting our own wares, like foot creams or the like. Another tactic is to inquire about their star signs and, quite dramatically, explain that their signs are somehow clashing with Uranus, which means we just can’t engage with them. Trust me, they’ll likely think twice about calling again!

I recently received an advertisement that resembles a request for a £300 annual subscription to a magazine for the Gloucester police. Could this possibly be a scam? I'm rather cautious about these sorts of things.

I recently received a call from this number (25/01/10) and I’m feeling quite dubious about it. It’s likely to be a scam, if I’m honest. The callers were promoting advertising slots, and they mentioned that if I settled the bill within seven weeks of getting the invoice, I could snag a 10% discount off the £195 ad. Sounds a bit fishy, doesn’t it?

We received the exact same message! Yet, we haven't got around to calling them back and honestly, I doubt I will. Cheers for sharing your experience!

It appears we've fallen victim to Weinstein Williams' deceitful ways. Just yesterday, we were inundated with calls from companies like Streetbeat, Imperial Media, and Blueline Publications, claiming we had placed an advertisement with them 'months back'. Their relentless barrage of proof and invoices has swamped our mailbox, and to say I'm exasperated would be an understatement. I wish we had caught wind of this scam sooner-if only we'd known four days ago! :-(

As a physiotherapist, I have serious doubts about the intentions of these callers. They persistently ring me six to eight times a day, and it feels like a scam to me. The ability to see who's calling has been a blessing, yet these individuals never leave a message, which raises a big red flag. I’m determined to report this nuisance to the relevant professional authority.

We've just received a call from the same company this afternoon, and I was considering promoting them. I’m really pleased we decided to check them out here first. They claimed they discovered our details through a reliable magazine that we're currently working with. We've just rung them up to share our thoughts on their approach. So, take heed folks-keep an eye on this company!

I've been inundated with pesky sales calls that are really quite aggressive, and now I'm also dealing with a stream of prank calls. It's becoming rather tiresome, to say the least.

We received a peculiar call from a number associated with something about the horse racing authorities. We indulged them for a while, and then the caller asked us when we might want to advertise our horse racing syndicate. When we inquired about the costs involved, she promptly answered, and we simply responded with a polite 'No, thank you'. Almost immediately after, she disconnected the call. Very odd!
