I’ve had no dealings with Speak Speak whatsoever, nor am I in any sort of financial bind. Claims Direct? Never crossed paths with them either. Feels to me like they’re merely a marketing squad or a bunch trying to fish for personal details. Here’s my tip: invest in an impartial pre-recorded answering machine (mine has a rather posh butler-like tone) and let it handle the calls for you. If what they have to say isn't pressing enough to leave a message, then it clearly isn’t important enough to fret over. This tactic worked wonders for me, especially with that pesky 'Irish' NATWEST who soon gave up.

I told them clearly that there’s no Jones residing at this address and made it abundantly clear not to call this blasted number again! I've been dealing with these chaps harassing me for the better part of two days now. The moment we answered the phone, there was a disconcerting silence on the other end. We figured it was just one of those automated dialling systems, blasting out countless calls whilst a handful of operators race to catch the next unsuspecting victim before they hang up. My partner eventually had a word with some bloke who claimed he needed to speak to the "manager" of the line. She told him in no uncertain terms to take a hike.

Received a call from this number, likely just another rogue trying their luck by ringing up random digits in an attempt to peddle some nonsense or pull a fast one. When I picked up, they didn’t utter a word and hung up shortly after - quite peculiar, really. Given the variety of businesses linked to this number, we suspect it could be a Debt Collector representing several firms, which means they're likely on the hunt for someone’s unpaid dues. Quite the deceitful bunch, in my opinion. Best to steer clear and report them to the relevant authorities if you can. Utterly disgraceful.

They then insisted on reading out a phone number, to which we adamantly replied it was incorrect and hung up. The caller had a distinct accent, reminiscent of the Caribbean, or something along those lines. We’re increasingly puzzled by these calls and have been getting them quite frequently! When I answered with my name, I realised they’d note that down. They asked us, "Who’s the provider of this line?" and we told them, "This is a business line." They then pressed on with, "But is it BT that's providing it?" To which I replied, "I can't disclose that information." They called back the following day, but we chose to ignore them.
