That was definitely a scam. We received a letter urging us to call this number, claiming our Visa password had been altered. The odd thing was, she didn’t even ask for our names.

We received a call via Skype from these individuals, and it dawned on me that, since I’m not affiliated with Barclays, they likely can't do much. Received a message earlier today purporting to be from "Barclays," claiming that our password had been altered and requesting that we contact 0870 156 6485. We definitely didn’t initiate any changes! It's obvious this was a scam. Moreover, they addressed me incorrectly as "Miss" rather than "Mrs." If it were really Barclays, they wouldn’t have slipped up like that.

However, we hadn't made any changes at all. It's quite clear this is a scam. They even got her title wrong, addressing her as "Miss" instead of "Mrs." - a blunder no proper Barclays communication would make.
