I got a call from someone pretending to be from my internet company, but as soon as I asked which provider he was with, he just rambled on about BT and a bunch of other firms. It was a bit funny, really. I told him he’d be better off finding an actual job because he was clearly rubbish at being a scammer.

I got a call from Talk Talk claiming to be legit and they gave me this number to prove it was them. Seems dodgy to me.

Had a call from an Asian lady named Maria claiming to be from TalkTalk's tech support. This is actually the fourth time they've rung me, always saying my internet isn't safe. When I asked for a callback number, she gave me this one.

Caller claimed to be from TalkTalk saying my internet was slow and asked me to connect my PC so they could sort it out. They gave me a contact number, but when I checked my phone, it displayed 01259826770 instead - looks like they were using some automated system to fake local numbers without realising it. Definitely a scam call!

I got a call today from someone claiming my computer had some dodgy malware. The lady said she was from Talktalk's tech support and her name was Sarah, but to me she sounded like she had an Asian accent. I asked her for her contact number and she gave me 08700878751. She insisted she was with Talktalk’s technical team. I told her I’d double-check with Talktalk directly. When I did, they told me no one from their side had tried to reach me. Definitely just a scam.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk, warning me my internet was about to get infected and that I'd lose my laptop and phones. They told me to open the command box and gave me some ID code to enter. Oddly, they already had my account number. When I asked who they really were and pointed out anyone could call pretending that, the bloke got irritated and started talking really fast, trying to rush me into following orders. The call came from 07709 467857. I quickly reached out to TalkTalk's live chat to report it, and they confirmed it was a scam.

I've just had about my sixth call from someone pretending to be TalkTalk about an internet issue. They want you to visit www.teamviewer.com so they can take control of your PC remotely. When I said I was aware of their scam and would be reporting them to the Police, the supervisor started swearing and quickly ended the call. They sound really convincing, but don't trust them - ring TalkTalk on their official number to check because it's definitely a scam.

I ended up getting billed £8 by Talk Talk for a call that only lasted 16 minutes, and the whole thing was their mess to start with! Ridiculous!
