When we finally attempted to return the call, we were greeted with a pre-recorded message saying the person we wished to speak with was unavailable and instructed us to enter a number (which I assume was the one we needed). It concluded with a pound sign! We hung up right away, but I can't help but wonder how much that brief call might end up costing me!

Without a doubt, it's Speak Talk. I've already told them to stop ringing us, but we'll see if they heed my warning. I reckon we’ll still get calls-those nuisances seem to bother us at least thrice a day, especially around the end of the month. It’s utterly infuriating!

I’d recommend saving this number in your contacts and utilising any call-blocking feature your phone may offer. If you can’t do that, just label it as 'Do Not Answer'. I won't go into details about what they pitched over the phone, but it's currently under review. So, best to avoid responding altogether!
