Greetings once more, everyone! I've stumbled upon a rather clever trick. If you claim that your number is a Business Preference number, those persistent callers tend to leave you alone. You see, 'Business Preference' is actually considered a personal number, and if someone tries to bother you with sales calls on a number like that, you have the legal right to pursue compensation of up to £5000. Not to mention, the authorities have the power to potentially shut down their operation! They’ll certainly be quaking in their boots at the thought. So, just fib a little and tell them it's a Business Preference number! Sit back and enjoy as they panic! =P

I just had a call from this number claiming they were following up on a letter regarding some debt reduction offer. I told them I hadn’t received any such correspondence, but they were adamant that they’d sent it and were simply checking in. I asked them to resend the letter for me, as I hadn’t seen it at all! The caller identified herself as Andrew, though I’m quite sure that can’t be her actual name!

In the span of just one hour, we've received four calls from this bunch! I have no clue who they are, and it’s baffling why they’re trying to get in touch. Whenever we attempt to call back, they seem to need something urgent and say we’ll be queued for the next operator-but then the line just goes dead! I can’t fathom why they’re so eager to connect, yet they don’t bother to answer when we respond! It’s utterly infuriating! We've gone ahead and registered with the Telephone Preference Service and lodged a complaint against them. It appears we're not the only ones affected by this lot!
