Ah, the delightful world of BPO - Business Process Outsourcing, I believe. They’re essentially debt collectors employed by a variety of institutions, including The AA, if I'm not mistaken. The way it works, or at least I’ve heard, is that if you let an insurance policy lapse, they might just set the BPO loose on you to chase down the funds for a policy you’ve moved on from or perhaps to get your address so they can take you to court. More often than not, you'll end up speaking to someone from Scotland, and I must say, the politeness levels tend to be rather lacking. It seems they favour the number 0870 0502651 for their calls. Quite the charming experience!

This number has been incessantly calling us, and given that we aren't familiar with it, we've chosen to ignore the calls. Can you believe we received three missed calls just today? It’s really becoming a nuisance, especially since we're in the office and our manager is getting rather frustrated with all the interruptions. We’ve had to silence our phone, which isn't ideal as we need to stay reachable in case the school needs to contact us regarding our son. Quite the situation!

If you happen to call that number, make sure to inquire for a Mr Andy Ward. Honestly, it's all down to her - we assure you! =D

The moment we answered the call, a chap with a Scottish brogue asked, "Is Mr [name] in?" As soon as we confirmed he was, the line went silent. We tried ringing the number again, only to be greeted by a message saying, "This service is not available." Quite odd, isn't it?

It's quite probable that the caller is linked to an account you hold. For instance, American Express has a stipulation in their agreements permitting them to reach out, regardless of your registration with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). This is often referred to as an "existing relationship", if memory serves.

I've been receiving calls from a company called Rang BPO, which stands for Business Processing Outsourcing, and I must say, they’ve been incredibly disrespectful! They seem to be working on behalf of some third-party organisations, like banks, but their attitude leaves much to be desired. For the past fortnight, they've relentlessly asked for our address, despite us not providing it. Honestly, we're absolutely livid about this situation!

I received a call from this number yesterday and again today-two times, no less! A quick look-up reveals that I seem to be caught up in this more often than I’d like. It’s truly frustrating, especially since we’re on the TPS list.

Received a rather peculiar call earlier, where the caller inquired about when we had acquired a CD player and if we played tunes for our staff. They then went on to mention some legislation supposedly enacted in 1988, stating that all businesses are required to have a license to play music, be it via CD, radio, or even from a computer. I’ve never encountered such a thing before; it all strikes me as quite preposterous! I kindly requested that they send any relevant information to our address, and if I turn out to be mistaken, we shall find out soon enough!

I just wanted to confirm that this caller is quite bothersome, ringing during the day but refusing to answer when I pick up. It seems I'm not the only one dealing with this individual, as others have mentioned their antics too.

I received a call from 08700500524, despite being on the Telephone Preference Service list. When I answered around 20:55, there was silence on the other end. Upon ringing the number back, I was greeted by an automated message that claimed, "This was a telemarketing call. Sorry I missed you." Who are these individuals, and what’s the reason behind these incessant calls? Is there a chance they’ve hit us with an exorbitant bill for returning their call?

This number just doesn’t seem to give it a rest - keeps ringing us, and honestly, we have no idea who it is. We've ignored the calls, but funnily enough, we had three missed calls from them just today! I’m at work at the moment, and it was quite an inconvenience, especially as my boss was being rather demanding. Ended up putting my phone on silent, which, let me tell you, was not ideal. I just want to be available for the school in case they need to reach me about our son or anything else urgent.

The number 08700 500524 called my mobile at 0907 this morning. Since I wasn't familiar with the number, I chose to ignore the call, and they didn’t leave a voicemail. I'll continue to skip these calls as the persistent ringing is becoming quite bothersome.

I received one call yesterday and two more today! A swift online search suggests I'm probably going to be inundated with more. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially since we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service. What a nuisance!
