I received a call from someone with a strong accent, claiming it was an urgent matter concerning my Windows computer. Without giving it much thought, I simply hung up the phone.

They are continuing their attempts. I received a phone call on the 21st of February. The caller provided her name, phone number, and mentioned an email address that we typically use (when I requested information about the account holder). In addition, the caller mentioned a supposed LSID. After ending the call, I received two more calls within 5 minutes, which I chose to ignore. It is advised to be cautious.

I have been receiving repeated phone calls from someone named Peter Clark, who speaks with a distinct Indian accent. He has called me a total of six times. The first time he called, I abruptly ended the conversation. However, he called back after just 15 minutes. My wife answered the call and dismissively informed him that it sounded like a scam before abruptly ending the call as well. Surprisingly, he immediately called back once again. Frustrated, I asked him to go away and promptly ended the call. However, he persisted by calling back right away. We didn't answer this time, and after three more unsuccessful attempts to reach us, the calls eventually ceased. During the final call, he mentioned that he was located in Perth, Western Australia.

This particular phone number appears to be frequently utilized by scammers. They typically have two intentions: firstly, to gain control of your computer in order to obtain passwords and other confidential information, and secondly, to charge you a fee for fixing your perfectly functional computer - the amount depending on your level of ignorance. If you have limited knowledge about computers, consider yourself a potential goldmine for these scammers. However, if you are well-versed in computer know-how, you can easily dismiss them within seconds and they will quickly end the call. Having experienced a brief sales pitch from one of these individuals who claimed that my computer was sending error messages to a mythical internet entity, I swiftly responded with, "I'm sorry, but I don't actually own a computer. I'm just taking care of this house while the owner is away." Interestingly, he abruptly hung up before I could even finish my sentence.

I had a strange encounter recently with a scammer who claimed to be from Microsoft. It was quite amusing because when I decided to blow a loud whistle down the line, he abruptly ended the call. I suspect he might have some hearing issues now, but I wouldn't be surprised if he tries calling again in the future. It's quite amusing because he seems to know my name, so he must think we're buddies or something. Hahaha.

We have been receiving multiple phone calls from this particular number. When we answer, the individuals on the phone claim to be investigating issues with "Windows Server." However, we do not utilize this service, which has become increasingly bothersome for my wife. I usually respond with a rude comment before hanging up. What actions can we take to address this ongoing harassment?

Microsoft? Highly unlikely. They abruptly hung up after I declined to interrupt my meal and attend to my computer.

During a recent incident, I encountered an Indian woman who had a fairly good grasp of the English language but had a distinct accent. She claimed to be a representative from Windows support and surprisingly knew my last name. When I questioned her about how they obtained my phone number, she readily attributed it to the service ID connected to our computer purchase. However, she conveniently struggled to provide any further details such as where or when we bought the computer, or even which specific computer it was that we owned. It became evident that she and her associates were nothing more than deceitful individuals trying to deceive me.

Beware of individuals claiming to represent Microsoft support who inform you that your computer is transmitting virus reports. Do not be deceived by this scam, as they will request for you to install a remote access program. Their ulterior motive is to pilfer your confidential information, including sensitive banking details. Stay vigilant against these fraudulent individuals.

I keep receiving numerous calls from a woman who speaks with a prominent Indian accent. She claims to represent Microsoft and has called me so many times that it has become exceptionally frustrating. This individual insists that my computer is continuously sending error reports to her team. However, I have become increasingly suspicious of the nature of these calls over time. It seems like a classic case of an opportunistic scam call, so I urge everyone to be cautious if they receive calls from this number. Interestingly, the caller also keeps asking for someone named "Misses Robin," a name that I suspect is made up.
