The person on the phone had a really strong accent and claimed it was an emergency with my Windows computer. I just hung up straight away.

They haven't stopped. I received a call on the 21st of February. The person on the line gave her name and phone number, mentioned an email address we actually use (when I asked who the account holder was), and rattled off some supposed LSID. After I hung up, I got two more calls in under five minutes which I just ignored. Watch out for this.

This number has called me loads of times, and even though I was a bit harsh with them, they still keep on calling again and again.

Some bloke called Peter Clark, who spoke with a thick Indian accent, has called me about six times now. The first time I just hung up on him, but then he called again about 15 minutes later. My missus answered and told him it seemed like a scam, then she hung up. He called right back after that, so I told him to shove off and ended the call. No sooner had I done that than he was ringing again. We just let the phone ring a few times before it finally stopped. Apparently, he said he was calling from Perth, Western Australia.

Got a call from someone named Alisha claiming to be from Windows server, said my computer was in danger. Total load of rubbish, just trying to scam people!

This number's been ringing me non stop lately, so I finally looked it up just now and found loads of people saying it's linked to scams. I've blocked it already, hopefully they stop!

This number, just like plenty others, looks like it’s linked to scammers trying to either hijack your PC to steal passwords and personal info, or convincing you to pay them to "repair" a computer that’s actually fine - and they charge more depending on how clueless you sound.

If you’re not savvy with tech, they basically see you as a cash cow. But if you’re a bit clued up, you’ll see through them in seconds and they’ll just hang up. One time, after listening to this guy go on about my computer sending error signals to some mysterious internet entity, I said, “Actually, I don’t have a computer - I’m just housesitting for a friend.” He cut me off mid-sentence and hung up right away.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from Microsoft - sounded dodgy right away. When I let out a massive whistle into the phone, he abruptly ended the call. I reckon he might have lost some hearing from that! I’m pretty sure he’ll ring back sometime though, since he actually knew my name. Guess we’re kinda mates now... lol.

This number has called us multiple times now, and every time they answer, they say it's about some "windows server" issue. Thing is, we don’t even use that system. It’s really getting on my wife’s nerves. Whenever I pick up, I just tell them off and then hang up. Does anyone know if there’s a way to stop these annoying calls? It’s starting to feel like proper harassment!

Isn't the CEO of Microsoft actually Indian? I mean, talk about flying pigs, right? Thought I heard somewhere that their main boss has Indian roots.

Just got a call from this number earlier, but there was total silence on the other end before they suddenly disconnected.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me. I got a call from an Indian lady who spoke decent English but with a thick accent, claiming to be from Windows support. She even managed to get my last name right. When I asked her how she got my number, she said it was from the service ID linked to when we purchased the computer. The strange thing is, she couldn’t specify where or when we bought it or even what kind of computer we had. Felt like a total scam to me.

Today, my landline rang and when I picked up and said "hello", there was complete silence. After a bit, a recorded voice just said "goodbye". Pretty odd if you ask me.

Today I saw three missed calls from this number on my phone. Even though I've set an overseas block with Telstra, these scammers keep ringing me nonstop. Feels like Telstra isn’t really doing much to keep these annoying calls away!

Got a call from someone saying they are Microsoft support. They told me my computer was sending virus warnings or something, but it’s all rubbish. They tried to get me to download some remote access software. Pure scam just to get your personal info and bank stuff. Watch out, total fraud!

Someone called saying they worked for Microsoft and claimed there was something wrong with my computer. It was obviously a scam to steal money. I just kept chatting with them until they gave up and ended the call.

I've had this lady calling me loads of times now, speaking with a thick Indian accent, claiming to be from Microsoft. She tells me my PC is constantly sending error alerts to them, which sounds very dodgy to me. It's pretty annoying by now. I reckon it’s one of those scam calls, so watch out if this number rings you. She also keeps asking for someone called Mrs Robin, which I’m pretty sure is a name she just made up.
