EVEN IF YOU GET A MESSAGE BACK, THEY’LL TRY TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR A DBS CHECK USING A LINK THEY SEND. YOU END UP NOT ONLY PAYING FOR THE CHECK, BUT THEY’LL ALSO NICK YOUR CARD INFO... THE MOST UPSETTING THING IS PEOPLE ACTUALLY BELIEVE THE JOB OFFERS THOSE SCAMMERS THROW AROUND!! SORRY TO SAY, I GOT CAUGHT OUT BY THIS A FEW YEARS BACK AND I WOULDN’T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO DEAL WITH THE SAME NIGHTMARE!!!!

I keep gettin these fake emails all the time, it's so annoying!

I haven’t had a phone call from these scammers, only emails so far. The bad spelling and the fact that they called me by my email instead of my actual name made me suspect it was a scam straight away.

So, I got a call from Nick Pope Recruitment saying I might get called in for a job interview. When I phoned this number back, it just said the voicemail was full. I looked it up online and found out it’s actually a scam. Honestly, I’m proper annoyed because I’d been sending emails and even put in an application. It’s just really misleading, getting my hopes up all week for nothing. Nick Pope Recruitment? Total scam.

I've been getting loads of emails telling me to fill out my online application again because apparently, they never got it - which is bizarre since I've sent it about ten times already. Took me way too long to suss out that it was all a scam. Oddly enough, they never even asked for my CV, so I’m left wondering what exactly they gain from running this kind of scam.

I never got a call back, but I dialled the number listed on Nick Pope Recruitment’s site. It just rang out and no one picked up, so I ended up ringing another firm in the same building. They told me Nick Pope Recruitment doesn’t actually exist. This company posts job adverts on sites like Indeed, Universal Jobsearch, Reed, and others, but all the roles seem to be bogus. It looks like a sneaky method to collect personal info since you have to send your CV to apply. They also go by names like NP Recruitment, NP Associates, and NP Group when posting jobs. Just a heads up - be careful!
