We’ve recently received a call from the number 08458621532 while attempting to modify our Sky+ subscription. The individuals on the other end requested the updated details for our direct debit. I must say, there’s a sense of caution urging us here; this could very well be a scam. It’s rather perplexing, as we’re not familiar with all the particulars since our parents were the ones engaged in conversation with them.

We attempted to call this number after encountering some peculiar heavy breathing sounds on our answering machine. Upon redialling, we were greeted by an automated message regarding a "New Voyeur" line, but then the line went eerily silent. Quite the odd experience, to say the least!

Called me twice earlier on today. It's honestly a bit much, especially with the whole ex situation still fresh in my mind, and yet these jokers keep trying to get through. The first one apologised, claiming they had the wrong number, then abruptly hung up. The second just silent dialled and hung up without a word. What on earth is going on?

I’ve had a whole bunch of calls from this number over the past few days, but we’ve chosen to ignore them. Given that we’re signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, it really highlights what JD mentioned on 31st October about this company not bothering to consult the TPS directory. It’s quite clear that checking with the TPS isn’t just a suggestion for businesses! For the record, I no longer even have an account with Sky.

Is anyone else aware of this rather bizarre claim of 80 pence for just a single second of talk time? I received a call from someone named Kaus, and we simply replied with a "not interested." However, it seems these folks are promoting a rather low-cost broadband service that wasn’t even hinted at during the call. It honestly felt like a chat that lasted all of three seconds! I’d prefer a more reasonable pace of conversation rather than this absurd 80 pages per second nonsense, or I’ll be left feeling quite skint!

I received a call inquiring about my surname and wanted to discuss Sky Warranty details, including its expiration. They seemed to suggest that they could offer extended warranties as well. However, I’m currently with a provider recommended by Sky that costs me around seven quid monthly. The callers brought up Cable and Wireless and were curious about my existing provider. Just a heads-up, I'm switching over to Orange via Tiscali since they’re offering a complimentary deal for Pay Monthly subscribers. Everything's sorted on my end. Please let them know to just keep this to themselves.

They mentioned they could sell us a new warranty for our SKY satellite gear since the original one from the manufacturer has expired. Quite the sales pitch, I must say!

I received a call from this company claiming that I owed £5 for a Sky warranty. It feels like yet another dodgy ploy. I made it clear to the caller that we’re not naive and we know he was trying to pull a fast one on us. Despite that, he had the audacity to come back with a sassy attitude, insisting we had an outstanding debt. After I hung up on her, he rang back, calling us rude for ending the call. A truly unpleasant and unprofessional experience! **I strongly advise against sharing any banking, Sky account, or personal details with this number!**

Received a call today from these folks claiming to be connected with Sky at first. However, upon a bit of investigation, it turns out they’re linked to Satlink Services instead. They advised me to send a letter to them at Imperium Home, BN18 0DF if I wish to have my details wiped from their databases. Just a heads up, we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and they mentioned their failure to verify against the TPS list. Quite the cheek, isn't it?

I've just fallen victim to this company and can hardly wrap my head around how foolish we were. I'll be reaching out to Watchdog as soon as possible. The minute we figured out we’d been duped, we called the number again to raise our concerns about being misled into thinking they were associated with Sky. The so-called 'manager' expressed her apologies and assured me that our information would be deleted. She even mentioned that she'd have to provide further training for her team. Unbelievable!
