Just received an unsolicited call from Carphone Warehouse. Quite unexpected!

Received a call from someone with a thick accent and rather poor command of English, trying to promote mobile deals from Carphone Warehouse. I mentioned that I was currently in one of their shops and suggested I could fetch the manager for a chat-suddenly, the line went dead.

Clearly a dodgy scheme!

Received a call from someone with a pronounced Indian accent, claiming to be from Dixons Carphone Warehouse. They were pushing a new contract with unlimited perks at an incredibly low price, reminiscent of those dodgy calls from typical Indian call centres. Sounds a bit suspicious, if you ask me.
