Just heard about this 02 scam from the BBC, they showed it on a couple of shows this week. The callers speak terrible English. Now I just hang up if the caller has an Asian sounding accent cos there’s loads of scam call centres from there.

I had the impression that it was a fraudulent call, the line was absolutely dreadful and the lady on the other end, with her Indian accent, struggled to articulate herself in English. It does baffle me why telecom providers don't take more action to prevent these fraudsters who cleverly disguise their identities using 0845, 0800, and mobile numbers that begin with 07.
