I thoroughly enjoyed my half-hour chat with the operator! I kicked things off at a 35% reduction, and after a bit of clever back-and-forth, I scored a fantastic 60% discount by requesting little 1% bumps here and there. Eventually, I wrapped it up and hung up the phone, feeling quite pleased!

I received a call from someone named "John" claiming to be with O2, but it was impossible to hear anything over the racket in the call centre. Honestly, what a shambles! It’s clear they assume we're all fools. Come on, folks, let’s not fall for this nonsense!

They said they were ringing from o2 with a chance to get 20% off my plan but needed to ask some personal stuff first before telling me the new cost. It just didn’t seem right so I ended the call.

They kept calling back even after I ended the call. The whole O2 story sounded really dodgy, plus I’m not even with O2 to begin with.

I had the impression that it was a fraudulent call, the line was absolutely dreadful and the lady on the other end, with her Indian accent, struggled to articulate herself in English. It does baffle me why telecom providers don't take more action to prevent these fraudsters who cleverly disguise their identities using 0845, 0800, and mobile numbers that begin with 07.
