This phone number belongs to Tena Direct, a company supplying hygiene products to the NHS in the UK. They sell items to NHS patients via the NHS foundation trust, but annoyingly, the only way to order is through this pricey premium rate number. I personally think it’s pretty dodgy and unfair that they make customers pay extra just to get through. This sort of practice really ought to be banned.

this number rang me, i never dialled it and now my phone bill shows a 20p per minute charge. such a rip off!

On the 18th and 19th of July back in 2016, I got a total of five calls from this number. I chose not to answer the phone, but I did take a peek at my landline to see if anything had come through while I was out. To my surprise, it looks like I was charged anywhere from 13 to 59 pence for merely checking!

Please refrain from returning the call, as it has added nearly 39 pence per minute to my mobile charges with [02]. This number appears to be a dubious one, involved in unsolicited orders for NHS bladder and bowel products. Best to steer clear of it!
