12 yearsRoughly an hour after receiving a call from a withheld number, I was then contacted by this number, and lo and behold, it was the exact same pre-recorded message claiming that their records indicated I had been involved in an accident. They requested more details to move forward with a claim and advised me to press 5 for further info, or 9 to refuse any future communications. I pressed 9 the first time, thinking that would do the trick, yet here I am getting the same call again - I probably shouldn't have expected it to work the second time round, really. Just to clarify, I haven't had any accidents, and they certainly shouldn’t have any information about me.
