i’m with rsa in manchester, working in recruitment and onboarding. when i ring people it shows up as 0845 6776776 on their phones. so if you get a call from that number about a job, it’s likely me. just to clarify, we’re a regulated insurance firm and only handle claims that have been submitted - we don’t make cold calls to drum up new claims. but if you’ve got a policy with rsa and make a claim with your insurer, we might call you. carl evans, recruitment business partner.

Got a call from rsa saying i was involved in a car crash back in april. When i asked where they got my number from, they said it was passed on by my insurance due to the incident. I told them i saw the accident but wasn’t actually involved. They assured me they’d take my info off their list. Still, i’m getting like 2-3 calls every day from them. Already blacklisted!

I bought pet insurance from Mands just yestersay, and this number called me today, claiming they were from Mands but said my bank details weren't right for the insurance. Luckily, I already knew the payment was taken. I'd avoid picking up this call.

keeps ringing me non stop, then as soon as i pick up he just ends the call. if i try calling him back there's just some recorded voice saying he'll get back to me.

this number rang me but when i picked up there was complete silence. i tried ringing it back and a recorded voice sounded like it was from rsa, saying they had my details and might get in touch again if needed. after reading the comments here, i’ll be ignoring any future calls from this number. thinking of getting a new phone that lets me block unwanted callers since the official do-not-call lists don’t always work. cheers for your brilliant website!

Today, my mobile rang a dozen times from this number. Just as I answered, the caller disconnected! When I attempted to return the call, I was greeted with a recorded message from RSA. If I need to reach you, I'll certainly call back, but let me clarify-I never asked for your calls. All I did was submit an inquiry regarding car insurance, and now I'm bombarded with 12 calls! This company isn’t for me; their eagerness to ring me repeatedly just feels desperate.

Today, I got a call from this number, and the bloke on the phone, Paul, was telling me I’d been in some sort of accident with my folks’ motability vehicle. Strangely, he couldn’t say when or where it supposedly happened, just kept saying a date. What’s weird is my dad also got a similar call about his mobility car, so not sure if it’s some kind of scam or mix-up.

Got a call today from this number claiming I'd been in a crash with my folks' Motability vehicle. The bloke, calling himself Paul, couldn't give me a time or place, just a date, which felt odd. He was pretty vague overall and kept pushing me for personal info like my parents' address - stuff he should already have if it were legit via Motability finance. Something didn't sit right with me, seems like a scam attempt. I’m definitely blocking this number now, and I'd advise others to do likewise.

Got a ring from this number on 25th November 2014 claiming to be from Royal Sun Alliance, saying I’d hit someone’s car. When I asked for details, they said it happened in Dundee back in May. Thing is, why are they calling me almost seven months later, and I’ve never even set foot in Dundee before? Seems a bit fishy to me.

It turns out this number actually belongs to Royal Sun Alliance (RSA), a prominent insurance company that operates through several subsidiary brands. We requested a quote from them through their Road Runner division, and this is the number that returned our call. So far, I've had no issues or endless ringing from this number.
