A bit of digging revealed that I had neglected to uncheck the privacy options on those comparison sites, which led to a flurry of unsolicited calls. If you’re fed up too, call 01403 232 323 and insist they wipe your information from their system. It’s so infuriating! We've received quite a few calls from this number. On one occasion, we answered it three times-once, a voice just kept saying "hi" but clearly couldn't hear our replies. On the other two calls, there was nothing but some faint office chatter in the background, yet no one actually spoke to us. It’s pretty obvious that it's a marketing company trying to call multiple numbers simultaneously, only engaging with whoever picks up first.
