Who on earth are these individuals, and how did they come by my mobile number? Also, what incident are they referring to? I've not had any sort of mishap.

I received a call from this number claiming my husband had been involved in a van accident. We were in the midst of a family gathering, so you can imagine how distressing it was. It truly threw everyone into a panic! Eventually, we managed to reach my husband and my daughter's boyfriend, and thankfully they were both perfectly alright. I can't fathom the mindset of someone who would resort to such a cruel trick. What a despicable act!

Can anyone tell me what networks they’re using? I moved from Orange to EE not long ago and since then, the number of annoying calls has shot up loads. When I was still with Orange, hardly ever got any. Honestly, it’s really starting to get on my nerves.
