I mentioned that I needed to look into the legitimacy of their offer and where the call originated from. The person on the other end was polite but rather insistent, which added to my suspicions. I'm left wondering if this could just be a scam. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

It's unclear whether they're truly affiliated with Facebook, but I would highly advise steering clear of them.

One has to wonder if any of your hard-earned cash is actually going towards your ads at all; it’s nothing short of a con game robbing folks blind. They have a penchant for targeting small to medium enterprises because it’s a cinch to prey on the little fish - occasionally they might attempt to go after larger companies, but that's a risky gambit. Their tactics include using ambiguous language, frequently changing or vague terms and conditions, with absolutely no confirmation of orders or agreements in writing; at times, they don’t even send proper invoices. They often neglect to issue monthly performance reports as well - you know, those updates that are crucial for tracking metrics like impressions or pay-per-click activities, which unfortunately suggests they’re not even providing the service they claim to be delivering. Their website's terms have been modified several times, employing sleazy tactics to dodge accountability and legal repercussions. While they are quick to respond to inquiries about setting up orders or seeking further sales information, any complaints or requests to cancel your services seem to fall on deaf ears. This includes emails, registered letters, and phone calls. They maintain the audacity to continue charging clients' payment methods even after confirming cancellations, leaving victims with no choice but to close their bank accounts or cancel credit cards. Threatening correspondence is their norm, including menacing letters threatening debt recovery actions over “phantom” invoices, even post-cancellation. They possess a dubious and well-documented record of changing their name roughly every six months, facing legal challenges from Google and other entities - yet somehow, they persist in their unlawful ways, exploiting small to medium businesses left and right. Numerous investigations have occurred into their behaviour, and they are currently under scrutiny from entities like WatchDog, The Mirror, and Trading Standards. When you reach out to Trading Standards, make sure to provide them with all the names of the firms involved and any pertinent details. The more complaints lodged against names like "Lavora Advertising" or "Answer IT Ltd," the stronger our collective resolve against them.
