They rang me about eight or nine times in half an hour. I clearly said to stop calling, but they just kept on going. Something about a pensions update, probably the usual hassle.

I picked up the phone, and just as he started to introduce himself, he abruptly cut the line. I can only speculate that he waited for the perfect moment so I’d be tempted to ring him back. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I answered twice, only to be greeted by the sound of voices chattering in the background, but no one ever spoke directly to me.
