I received a call from this number, and it turned out to be a non-functioning line, so I promptly hung up. However, bizarrely, every time I picked up the phone again, those individuals seemed to still be connected on my line. Now, I’ve just received a bill, and apparently, they were on the line for a whopping 31 minutes and 42 seconds, leaving me with a charge of £1.47 for the inconvenience of having them tied up on my line. Is there any recourse for such a situation? My phone provider insists there’s nothing they can do about it.
