It appears that the call was from Homebase's automated system, presumably checking in to confirm a delivery date. The rather peculiar thing is that one must utter a 'hello' before the machine begins its spiel. I refuse to engage until I ascertain there's an actual person on the other end; otherwise, I feel compelled to dismiss any overly eager telemarketer. This lot ended up ringing us back on our mobile, and thankfully, I managed to catch the number. It was certainly a stroke of luck to find this information here, as I would have likely just hung up in frustration otherwise!
