I never dialled this number, yet my phone company insists I was in a call with it for around 10 minutes. I'm pretty sure I wasn't. This seems really sketchy and worrying.

I got hit with an £8.42 bill for a quick call to Equifax, where most of the time was me just waiting on hold. I was trying to tell them their records on my property were wrong, which meant the credit scores they showed for people living there were totally off. Because of that mess, I couldn’t get a new mobile contract sorted.

Was on the phone over 13 minutes, about 13 mins and 31 seconds actually, and ended up being charged £9.46 by my network. Just a heads up - avoid calling this number unless you want a big bill.

so it was this place called equifax, they handle credit stuff for businesses. someone told me to get in touch with them to figure out why the company couldn’t find me. ended up spending 20 quid to sort out the whole address problem.
