I’m actually with a home internet and phone service, and this number showing up on your bill is just a fault with your carelines making random calls. Best thing is to get in touch with the company you rent your carelines from and inform them about the issue.

My brother, who has learning difficulties, had this number showing up on his phone bill with charges he didn’t expect. When I asked him, he said he never dialled it. I got in touch with his phone company, and all they said was that the number calls him, and the charges appear when he answers. I even tried ringing the number myself but it never even rings at all, which seems strange. I explained that his phone line is only linked to his broadband and careline device, but they refused to refund the fees. I've now reported it to the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), so we’ll have to wait and see what the next bill looks like.

My elderly folks have been getting nonstop calls from this number and another one that’s pretty much the same. One entire day, they must’ve rung hundreds of times, each costing extra, even though the line is meant just for their Careline and the phone was actually removed, so nobody even picked up. How is this allowed to go on like this?
