Feeling a bit suspicious, I decided to ring npower directly to verify if they were making such calls. To my surprise, they informed me that the number I had been contacted from didn't belong to them and that it was a broker trying to gather our information for possibly dubious reasons. I informed him that I didn’t possess one and requested that he remove my number from their records.
