I received a call where there was nothing but silence on the other end, and then they hung up abruptly.

I am fairly certain that this was a scam involving missed call callbacks. I noticed I'd received four calls in quick succession, yet none of them left a voicemail. Without a second thought, I promptly decided to block that number.

Has anyone picked up when this number rang you? It showed up a couple times on my phone but I didn’t answer since I never pick up from unknown callers. No voicemail or anything left either. I tried searching online to see if it’s maybe some kind of spam or telemarketing line but couldn’t find anything solid. Don’t want to risk calling back without knowing what I’m dealing with. Does anyone recognise it?

Got an email saying I was supposed to receive a big payout from the EU, but it was just a scam. They wanted me to ring this number to get more info.

Had some dodgy calls from these scammers who just want your cash. When I told them off, they kept ringing me every day! I’ve been in touch with my mobile network to try and track where the calls are coming from. Loads of different numbers, all connected to some sort of trading scheme. Best advice? Don’t engage, just end the call and block them straight away.
