I received a bill last month for £20 from this number, which appears to be from Tree Cell for some sort of reference to Switfire charges. However, I never asked for any such service. Quite baffling, really!

I've noticed I've been hit with double charges for something completely unfamiliar - can someone explain what's happening? On the 21st of February, at 23:45, there was a £5 video purchase from Switchfire (08455442315) for a duration of one second, then again at 23:35 for the exact same amount and length. That's a total of £10 I've been billed for no reason! Truth be told, I only use my mobile for tethering to the internet, so the device itself hardly sees any action. As such, there's absolutely no way I've interacted with any dodgy texts or anything that could have set this off. It’s quite baffling!

I too experienced a £5 deduction from this phone number. I distinctly recall getting a dodgy text that mentioned something about being charged a fiver, insisting I had a mere 10 minutes to respond. It struck me as a scam, so I promptly binned it. As I recall, this unwelcome message materialised shortly after I inadvertently clicked on an ad. If this is just a one-off mishap, I'll brush it off this time. However, should it happen again, I'll be reaching out to Three for sure.

Where on earth can I express my thoughts regarding this predicament??? Who on earth has the audacity to cancel my bill??? It’s really not amusing at all!!!

I’m facing a similar issue. I've been hit with an additional £30 charge, which is quite amusing, to say the least. I don’t even use this number!

I've got three downloads lingering that I never initiated, all because of spam that's been pestering me during my daily browsing. If you have a look at my bill, you'll notice it registers just a solitary second for the duration the spam was visible on my display. I’m keen to find a remedy for this invasion of my privacy, or I’ll have no choice but to escalate my complaint to the appropriate authorities. The company behind these Payforit services, which has caught me out, informed me that I had a mere ten minutes to cancel the download. Yet, as clearly shown on my bill, there was only a second for me to try and halt the spam. They've now directed me to lodge my complaint with Switchfire. The details are as follows: Switchfire, 08455442315, has charged me £5 for a video purchase, and this is the code related to that video - which unfortunately has been charged to me three times.

I’ve just noticed an additional ten quid has been deducted from my account after I had a chat with three different representatives. Apparently, it’s related to a film I supposedly watched at 4 in the morning, which is total nonsense! Now my account is capped, and I’m absolutely fuming about it. If this sort of thing happens again, I’ll definitely be looking for a new provider!

I've noticed a fiver has been taken out for a measly second-long video; is there any way we can trace the connection among us and figure out how our numbers got into their hands?

There's a good chance I was browsing some adult content on my phone, and somehow a script must have fished out my number. It's all well and good trying to track down where it originally came from, but then what do we do with that information?

I've encountered a similar issue with this number. Is there any way I could go about cancelling this transaction?

I’ve just had a glance at my latest THREE mobile invoice and spotted some dubious charges: - On Sat, 11th Jan, at 05:01, there’s a deduction for a video purchase from Switchfire (08455442315) totalling £5 for a duration of just one second. - Earlier, at 04:59 on the same day, another identical charge has appeared for another video from the same number, also for £5 for one second. I’m utterly bewildered as to where these charges originated. To make matters worse, I’ve suddenly started receiving random text messages with links to adult content, all urging me to call 020 3397 7636 for assistance. I can only assume that number comes with a hefty premium rate charge if I were to ring it. I genuinely have no clue how this has all begun, as I’ve never shared my mobile number with any adult service.

Absolutely infuriating! I've just realised that my provider, Three, has charged me four times for a flimsy 5-pound video that lasted a mere second each time. I’m currently on an iPad and, to make matters worse, I can’t even make calls. When I reached out to Three for assistance, they insisted that it's my issue, not theirs. Honestly, shouldn't they enhance their security measures to safeguard customers? It makes no sense to allow companies to deduct such hefty sums for services we neither requested nor received. Some folks have mentioned that we should be notified when subscribing to a service. But as an iPad user, I don’t receive those alerts you’d expect on a mobile phone, so I was completely in the dark about this. The only sign is those ridiculous charges on my bill! I reckon I’ll give it a few months, and then I'm out of here. Three has truly let me down. Their customer service is abysmal!

I can't quite believe it! I've been slapped with a £15 fee for three random one-second video calls, and I haven't even made any of them! What's more, this bizarre situation unfolded all at once on Boxing Day. It's absolutely infuriating! I demand that this charge be removed from my bill immediately.

I've encountered a similar issue myself. I accidentally tapped on an advertisement and ended up shelling out five quid for a video that I didn't mean to buy. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

I just noticed a bizarre charge of £5 on my bill for a mere second of call time, and it’s linked to a number I truly didn’t ring. The statement claims it’s for some sort of video purchase, yet I haven't made any such transaction. It’s quite possible there’s been a mix-up, but I must admit, I’m feeling rather let down by this whole situation.
