Received a leaflet pushed through my door today - dated 1st September 2011 - from this outfit mentioned above. I'm based in High Earnock, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire. Had a good rummage online, but could only stumble upon a firm at 15-17 Glencryan Road, Cumbernauld, G67 2UH, though their title is THERMOSEAL rather than Thermaseal. I reckon I might as well forward this flyer to Trading Standards for a bit of clarity.

I received a call from these absolute muppets insisting that our home’s walls and roof were compromised because of climate change. They babbled on about some government grant or regional support specifically for folks over 60, claiming that it was scarce and time-sensitive. However, I’ve found out that no such grants actually exist for this kind of work. They seemed incredibly dodgy when it came to providing their company name and address. Take heed and steer clear!
