Over the last five weeks, I’ve received a total of eleven calls that have been rather bothersome. I haven’t answered any of them since I’m currently overseas.

In the space of just a month, we've received a total of ten calls from the number 08455270580. Thankfully, we've installed a blacklist app on our device, meaning these callers will never be able to bother us again. How fortunate!

Some woman rang me, saying she was from Scottish Power, using this number.

I told her I always stick with local suppliers and joked about how silly it sounds to pay for electricity to travel all the way from Scotland down to Wales, not even getting me started on the 'packaging' costs! Then I cheekily asked if buying a load of electrons at once came with a discount.

She didn't really have a comeback after that. Fingers crossed this means no more calls from Scottish Power on my phone.
