These scammers keep harassing my old uncle, trying to trick him out of his money. They've already taken a fair bit and keep calling back like it’s nothing.

Avoid this company at all costs; they're nothing but a scam. I foolishly took out insurance for my washing machine with them, but trying to get in touch is a nightmare. When you ring them, there’s no answer, and they just tell you to leave a message-only to completely ignore you. They claim to offer round-the-clock support via phone and email, but that’s just nonsense. I've sent five emails in a single day, providing my phone number, yet I've heard nought in reply. I forked out over a hundred quid for this so-called cover; it’s best to keep well clear. All they seem to do is rack up your phone bills since they likely profit from those calls. Logic Guard is total rubbish. Their head bloke Adnan got fined by the ICO and then handed the business over to Dan, who’s a bit of a sneaky little punk with his fancy Audi acting like he’s all that but honestly, he hasn't a clue. The customer service lead, Anna, just talks right over you and doesn’t actually pay attention - maybe she’s been at it way too long, who knows. Honestly, avoid them. They even got some of us employees to pen fake reviews just to make themselves look better, but it’s all a proper scam.

Quick update to what I said earlier today: I had a call from some pushy young bloke named Daniel trying to get me to renew an insurance thing, but I just checked their site and it blatantly says: "This isn't an insurance or warranty. What we offer is straightforward tech support plus a prepaid engineer visit once a year. It's all about giving our customers peace of mind and a budget-friendly service." So basically, they lied about the insurance cover renewal! Be careful and let your older family members know about these dodgy salesmen.

I got caught out by Logic Guard. They want £99 a year to cover an out of warranty gadget that they’ll swap if it breaks. Their paperwork looked dodgy to me. Their customer service line is ridiculously pricey. They promised me speedy help as a priority customer, but that was just rubbish. They don’t do any actual servicing, so others saying that stuff isn’t true. I definitely didn’t renew! Luckily my card expired, so they couldn’t charge me again. They even asked if I was retired - feels like they go after older folks. Don’t be fooled by them.

Luckily, we can now block their number.

A few months back, they managed to sell my 95-year-old mum a 5-year cover for her washing machine. Luckily, I got the money back. Then just last month, they phoned her again and sold her a 'call blocker' for £119.99, when the exact same thing goes for £25 on Amazon. I caught it before the 14-day refund period ended and got her money back again. To prevent them and other scammers from hassling her, we’ve switched her number and made it ex-directory now.

I received an unexpected call from this number earlier today. When I picked up, I could hear chatter in the background but no one addressed me directly, and after about half a minute, the call just cut off. Curious, I decided to return the call and discovered it belonged to Logic Guard Insurance. I informed them that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and requested that they remove my number from their records. I made it clear that if they contacted me again, I would lodge a complaint. They assured me my number would be taken off their list and that I shouldn't expect further calls from them. Time will tell, I suppose...! I’m absolutely fed up with these pointless calls from such companies. It really is high time for stricter regulations to prevent these marketing chaps from bombarding us with unsolicited calls!

Got a call out the blue, person asking for someone who doesn't live here at all. We've had this number for nearly 30 years. As soon as I told them they had the wrong person, they just cut me off without a word. I rang back to find out who they were, turned out to be some insurance firm trying to sell cover for washing machines. I don't want it, and never asked for it. Definitely not a trustworthy company! I’m pretty sure Domestic and General wouldn’t be pleased hearing about that. When I asked how they got my number, she insisted I’d asked for a callback when my insurance ended in February. That’s just not true. She refused to accept I said no, so I just ended the call.

What a dodgy operation! They pretended to be from Logic Guard Insurance, claiming that the warranty on my Bosch washing machine was expiring and that they could extend it. I tried to explain that my machine is nearing its 20th birthday, but they insisted. Honestly, no legitimate insurer would even consider covering a machine that ancient!
