They ring me a couple of times every day. If they won’t say who they are, I just let it go to voicemail - even with calls saying they’re from the NHS. If it’s really something important, they’ll leave a message. Lately, I’ve noticed less calls from overseas, but more unknown mobile numbers popping up.

I just got a ring from this number and like others have mentioned, they claimed to be from EE. Something about it felt off to me though, so I decided to humour them for a bit. After a while, the bloke seemed to lose interest, probably because I wasn’t really giving him much to go on. Fingers crossed they don’t bother me again!

They kept ringing me over and over, and I finally picked up today. The caller claimed I’d been a super loyal customer and that I could get loads of perks, like a new phone and line at a cheaper rate than I’m currently paying.
I’ve come across several studies saying this definitely isn’t from EE!

Plus, I find it unlikely that EE would call me like this since they usually just send texts, and whenever they have rung, it’s been from a different number altogether.

I got a call claiming I’m a loyal customer. They were trying to sell me a SIM for my iPad with 20gb of data for just an extra £5 a month. I said no, but they keep ringing me nonstop. EE usually only sends texts, never calls, so this felt off.

This isn’t actually EE, it’s some lot pretending to be them. Don’t give out any of your info to these people!

About ten minutes back, I got a call from this number. The person wanted to speak to my boyfriend because it's something to do with his contract. I told them I wouldn’t be seeing him until the weekend, so they said they'd try again at 2pm on Saturday. They also mentioned they had some really good news for him.

This number 08454500269 has rung me about six times over the last week. It started Tuesday 18th March and just this morning, Tuesday 25th March, it called again. All the calls have come while I’m at work, so I never picked up. I tried phoning back two times, but nobody answered. If it’s meant to be EE, I’m scratching my head because I asked them ages ago to only get in touch by text or email, which they do regularly about my bills and extras. But they’ve never rung me. So I really doubt that 08454500269 is actually EE.

I picked up this number thinking it was EE, but it turned out to be some firm pretending to be them. They wanted to sell me phones, tablets, and internet devices claiming I was a “loyal” customer getting a special deal. I said no nicely, but it felt a bit dodgy.
