They just kept ringing non stop. I hung up right away as soon as the robot started talking at 14:58, but then they called again 5 minutes later (15:03) and I cut off as soon as the recording kicked in. While I was trying to block the number, they rang once more after only 4 minutes (15:07). Since they seem to dodge some blocking apps, next time I’m definitely going to report them to the Telephone Preferences Service, OFCOM, and whoever else I can think of - the cops don’t seem to bother with this sort of thing though.

They strike me as nothing more than cheap spammers and unscrupulous scammers, lacking any sense of ethics or basic decency. Quite possibly a nuisance, and potentially a bit risky as well. I'm inclined to think this could be one of those dubious call centre operations linked to Aspen Capital Consultants, based in Dundee. They seem to specialise in low-grade spamming and scams, completely lacking in morals or decency. They could potentially be a bit of a risk, and they’re certainly a right nuisance. I asked them how they got my number, how they figured out about the accident, and told them to stop bothering me. The guy just laughed straight away when I asked to be taken off their list.
