I ignored it - most calls to my home phone are from firms like everyone else said - those annoying recorded message ones. I'm registered with the TPS, but they don’t seem to do anything about these robo calls. Reporting them feels like a waste of time. If these companies get cheeky when you ask to take your details off their list, it usually means they know they can’t be easily stopped.

I keep receiving a recorded message stating that the national database indicates my boiler hasn't been surveyed, reminding me that all boilers were meant to be checked by 2017. Every time, I press 9 to opt out, yet it feels like I've done this a hundred times already! This time, I pressed 2 instead and made it abundantly clear that this wasn't consent for them to contact us ever again. I also mentioned that we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and they ought to remove us from their list. Their response was extremely rude, with one chap stating, "I certainly will not take you off our list, so simply go away." Interestingly, the gentleman I spoke to had a Scottish accent, and I can't shake the feeling we've crossed paths before when he called about arranging a boiler survey. Previously, I lodged a complaint with the TPS, which led them to identify the company as ASPEN FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS and instructed them to stop calling my number. It's becoming quite the farcical situation!

Honestly, can these dull, brainless muppets who keep calling about energy surveys and new boilers think anyone sensible would fall for their nonsense? It's obvious they’re just too clueless to find a proper job. What a joke! Just keep on blocking those annoying numbers.

Today, I pressed 2 instead and told them pressing 9 clearly hasn’t worked, plus we’re on the TPS list so they shouldn’t be ringing us at all. The bloke on the phone was really rude, almost threatening, and flat out refused to take us off their call list, told me to “go away”. The guy had a strong Scots accent and we reckon it’s the same person who rang earlier from a different number to book a boiler check. We complained to the TPS before about calls from this ASPEN FINACIAL CONSULTANTS lot, and they were told to stop calling us - guess that didn’t help much!

Gets called a couple times a week, every day really, by some automated voice about Government Green Energy. They say press 2 if you want to show interest or press 9 to opt out. Honestly, I'm a bit dodgy about pressing any buttons.

I keep getting calls from this company saying there’s a message about me not having done my free home assessment, according to some national database. They first called me from a blocked number, then followed up with calls from an international one. It’s happening every single day and it’s really annoying. I’m signed up with the TPS, so they really need to be stopped from bugging people like this.

This number rings me multiple times a day, usually 2 or 3 calls, and every time it's some automated message about the National Data Base or something similar. I usually just hang up straight away before it even finishes. It's really getting on my nerves, especially since I have a poorly family member in hospital, so every time the phone rings I get anxiety thinking it's them calling. Honestly, I hope these annoying idiots get nonstop phone calls when they're trying to rest.

This number has rung me twice today with that annoying recorded spiel about some National Database. Honestly, the Government and the so-called Regulators are completely useless. These nuisance calls should be banned immediately. Definitely make sure you report them every time and don’t stop reporting to the Regulators!

I just wanna find out when these annoying calls will actually be stopped. The government keeps saying they're cracking down on them, but all that seems to happen is they switch numbers and keep ringing us non-stop.

I received a missed call, so I rang back only to be greeted by a pre-recorded message that sounded distinctly American. It rambled on about something to do with accident claims. I can only assume it’s yet another scam attempt.

I’ve been getting calls about a new boiler under some government scheme. Yesterday, 16/02/2016, I got rung up three times in about 30 minutes. The last time, I asked for the manager and was told the person was the manager and would take me off the list. Then today, AGAIN, I get a call and the lady on the line says she’s a manager and will remove my number. Just 6 minutes later, I got yet another call, this time from a man claiming to be a manager who gave me the same spiel. Bit fishy, but every "manager" sounded Scottish, so maybe it's just coincidence?

Like loads of others, I hit two hoping to chat to a real person but all I got was people chuckling and hearing "oh no, we've left it on speaker" before they just cut me off. They call me all the time and it's honestly starting to get really annoying. These idiots should seriously be put to an end.

Got a call around half past two from someone saying that if you’re on benefits you could get a new boiler. Wasted ages listening to it though as I’m not eligible. I hung up, but annoyingly they rang back less than two minutes after I ended the call. Total time waster!

Got calls from this number 18 times just today. I hit 2 to get through to someone, and all I got was some rude snorting. When I mentioned I was from the police, the woman just snapped back saying, “We’re not listed as a police station.” Proper strange behaviour.

This number rings me up all the time, claiming something like "The National Records Office says" I haven’t had an energy assessment done on my home or some rubbish. They keep going on about maybe getting solar panels, a new boiler, or better insulation. Thing is, I already have all of that sorted, so I’m not interested at all. But no matter what I say, they just won’t listen! Anyone know how to make them quit calling?

This number has been ringing non-stop like, at least ten times since early morning. Every time, it's some automated voice saying we can get a new boiler because apparently we own a home. Problem is, we don’t - we run a business. Whenever we tried to opt-out by pressing 9, the calls kept coming. Frustrated, I hit 2 to talk to someone, told them to quit bothering us, and the woman on the line just shouted "so???" before slamming down. Top-notch service, eh?
