I got a call from someone claiming to be EE/Orange, asking how things went when I reached out to them last week. I mentioned my upgrade was coming up soon and was just waiting for it, otherwise I’d have to pay extra. The person said “I can help with that” and then asked me for my password. Spoke with a bloke called Nathan yesterday when I tried to cancel, and honestly, the customer service was shockingly bad. He flat out refused to let me speak to a manager. When I asked for the main switchboard number so I could talk to a Director, he said he didn’t have it. Eventually, they did call me back, but after being a customer for five years, I’m definitely taking my business elsewhere because of how he handled it. I've sent a letter to a Director (found via a Companies House lookup) and also copied it to their regulator - something needs to be done about their processes. If you’ve just ended your contract, expect a lot of follow-up calls trying to keep you on board, but they should ease off once the contract officially ends. Totally with others on this - EE’s a mess, awful management and leadership, bit of a nightmare job. I’d honestly say avoid them if you can and maybe give Vodafone or Giffgaff a go instead.

I keep getting calls from this number 08454122711, they never leave a message but I get at least one call every week. From what I found on this page, it seems to be T Mobile. Really annoying!

I got a call from EE the other day, they said they were running a survey on their network, especially about indoor signal and WiFi calls. I looked it up online and turns out it’s a legit thing and it doesn't cost extra [just uses my minutes]. It's handy coz my signal at home is rubbish, so this sounds pretty good. Kudos to EE for doing that - caller said it was EE.

On the 2nd of February, 2015 at around 1pm, I got a call from a number said to be with EE. I told them straight away they risked legal action with the new cold-calling regulations, especially since a company got nailed by the UK courts just last week for the same thing. The bloke on the other end then offered to remove my number from their call list, and I said that was fine.

Got a call from EE trying to talk me into renewing my contract. I’d already cancelled with them though because their signal is awful - like paying 4G prices but getting 3G coverage at best. Totally useless service. - caller: EE
