The Caller-ID mentioned earlier was 87771 and 81177. However, the number we shared previously actually belongs to the business NETPLAY, from which these text messages originated! Our apologies for any confusion caused.

I stopped receiving texts last October, but to my surprise, I got one on 17th January. It contained a message claiming we'd been wrongly charged for these texts and instructed us to ring 08453892662 to get a refund, quoting reference number GAG. I tried calling, but the number seems to be out of order! What a farce!

It's just like topping up your mobile, isn't it? Once you add credit, it inexplicably vanishes, and there seems to be no way to exit the whole situation. Quite annoying really!

I've managed to track down the correct number to ditch this 84459. It's officially noted with the authorities over in Manchester, and come Monday, I'll be filing a report with Ofcom. Hope this proves useful for anyone affected!

I received a text message informing me that I've supposedly signed up for the ultimate cash quiz, with a chance to win a million for a fee of £3 a week! How on earth can that be considered free? The message also instructed me to text 'quit' to 84459 if I wanted out, but that won’t go through at all. There's a contact number, 08453892662, for a helpline, but no one ever picks up. It seems like these folks intend to deduct £3 from my credit every month until I can manage to cancel this nonsense! Can anyone assist? My number is 07938111799.

I have no intentions of falling for this company's tricks. My spouse and I are both retired, and this firm bombards us with an outrageous number of SMS messages-87,771 to be precise-while we've tried to respond to just about 20 of them. It's simply unacceptable that such behaviour is allowed to go unchecked!

I’ve had more than enough of this number, 84459. I've already reported it to the Manchester police, and come Monday, it'll be brought up with Ofcom as well. Just thought I'd share this in case it proves useful to anyone else.

Be cautious of this company, folks! As elderly individuals, my partner and I have fallen prey to their tactics. They’ve been utilising the number 87771 to bombard us with texts, resulting in a loss of around £20. It's utterly shameful that they’re permitted to act in this manner without consequences. Something must be done to stop them!

I too have fallen victim to a scam! This nonsense said it would be £4 a month and told me to text 'QUIT' to 87771, but the dodgy characters are ignoring it entirely. It's completely drained our credit, leaving us with no option but to fork out for a brand-new SIM card. What a right mess!

We've been inundated with these pesky text messages and have made several attempts to put an end to them by sending "STOP" replies. Just recently, we received a message claiming that we had been wrongly charged for these texts and instructing us to call 08453892662 to sort out a refund, quoting reference GAG. I tried ringing the number, but it seems to be disconnected. I've sent another text asking to stop the messages, but honestly, it feels utterly futile. We're desperate to get rid of these texts and sort out the refund - it's all rather infuriating!

It seems we've fallen victim to a scam involving roughly twenty quid. It’s outrageous that these individuals can operate without facing consequences. Completely by chance, we ended up on this dodgy website using our Tesco credit card. Absolutely infuriating!

We recently received a text regarding the Grab a Grand quiz, and it appears they've raised the stakes. The message suggests we've subscribed to their competition, which we certainly haven't. It claims they will deduct £1.50 on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays until we text ‘STOP’ to 86000, a number that seems to be non-existent. Additionally, the phone number mentioned earlier was continuously engaged. This surely smells like a scam, and we intend to alert the local authorities and the appropriate regulatory body about this.

Received a text claiming I’ve supposedly joined the ultimate cash quiz, which apparently offers a free entry for a shot at winning a million pounds for a mere three quid a week! If that’s free, I’m the Queen! The message advises to text "quit" to 84459 to opt out, but the message won’t go through. It also suggests calling 08453892662 for assistance, but it seems like nobody's picking up the phone on that end either. I reckon they’ll be siphoning off three pounds from my call credit every month until I can figure out how to stop this. Can someone lend a hand? My number is 079381799.

I’ve looked into this number, and it turns out these folks will harass you for far more money than you’d expect. Even if you send texts saying 'stop' or 'stop all,' they just carry on regardless. The only surefire way to get rid of them for good is to pick up the phone and call 02078199123 (Net Play TV) and then ring 08453892662 to request a refund. Wishing you all the best with that!

I received a text message claiming that I'd entered some sort of final quiz for a chance to win a million pounds, saying it was all for free! It mentioned sending a text to 84459 to opt out, but now I’m bombarded with messages. The text also included a number, 08453892662, to call for assistance, but every time I try, no one picks up! I fear these characters will keep charging me three pounds out of my call credit every month unless I can put a stop to it. Has anyone else experienced this? My number is 079381799. Any advice would be appreciated!
