Definitely Barclays, no doubt about it. I was in Spain using my card and all of a sudden it stopped working. Then I got a call and a text message from them. Once I replied, the card started working again straight away.

ABSOLUTELY GENUINE. A call came through purporting to be from the fraud division of Barclays Bank - I swiftly disconnected, as we’re often inundated with scam calls. However, I decided to ring Barclays back using the contact number from their official site, and they confirmed that the call was indeed legitimate. The number belonged to Barclays, and they were reaching out due to some payments that raised a red flag for them, although everything was fine on my end... (I might have indulged a bit on a shopping spree!). So, rest assured, this number is completely trustworthy. Yet, if there’s ever any doubt, it’s always wise to call your bank back using a number sourced from their website just to be extra cautious! 😊

No joke, this number actually called me saying they were from Barclays fraud team. I was about to hang up straight away as we get loads of scam calls, but decided to double check by calling Barclays on the number listed on their official site. Turns out it really was Barclays calling - they warned me about some dodgy transactions on my account (erm, I may have gone a bit mad on online shopping!). So yeah, this number is genuine, but if you’re ever in doubt, just ring your bank back using a trusted number from their website to be safe.

TOTALLY TRUSTWORTHY.

I received a call purporting to be from the fraud team at Barclays Bank - instinctively, I hung up, as we're inundated with scam calls. However, I decided to call Barclays back using a number from their official site, and they verified it was indeed a genuine call. This number is absolutely legitimate, and they were reaching out due to some payments that appeared a bit dodgy to them, but all was well on my end... (I might have indulged in a little shopping spree!)

So rest assured, this number is safe and valid - but if you ever feel uncertain, it's always best to contact your bank using a number you find on their own website for peace of mind! :)
