I got a no caller ID phone call from someone claiming to be from a debt collection agency. She said she was ringing on behalf of a company based in Liverpool called The Debt Collection Company. Apparently, I supposedly owed almost £500 to a firm named Business Finder, and she gave me the exact amount. I asked for their contact number, and after hanging up, I tried calling back the number she gave me. But an automated voice said twice that the number was invalid. I’ve looked into it further and can’t find anything useful, so I’m pretty convinced this was a scam.
