On the 16th of March 2009, I received a text message urging me to call 08453008464 without delay. I replied with a message of my own, letting them know that if it was so pressing, they should give me a ring instead.

I've received a text that matches what Graeme reported, but we definitely won’t be returning their call. It's curious that MINT (often seen in uppercase) usually puts a security word in every message they send, yet shockingly, that essential word is missing from our text.

It was all rather standard, really. We dialled our credit card number and alerted them regarding the message we received. The supervisor confirmed that everything was above board.

I recently received a text message claiming to be from Mint Cards Customer Services. They've mentioned it’s urgent and requested that I call them back at 08453008464. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Received a text from this number, so we decided to give them a bell using our work phone, just to be on the safe side. The very first thing they asked was for our credit card number! Naturally, we declined to share any such information. They then suggested that if we weren’t keen to engage with them, we should call the number on the reverse of our card for clarification. We plan to do that later for peace of mind. However, having done a bit of digging, we're convinced it's a scam.
